First review of the snakebyte PS3 Controller
Planet-Playstation.de calls the controller range an “all around carefree package”
Planet-Playstation.de has released the first review to the brand new snakebyte PS3 controllers. Particularly the fitting and processing can satisfy. Especially positive aspects are the comfortable concave R2 and L2 buttons, which are mainly for players who favour the Xbox 360 controllers.
Planet-Playstation.de reckons:
“The L2 and R2 buttons should be given special mentioning. The concave triggers were implemented here, instead of the common form as used on the original pad – similar to the ones used on the Xbox 360 control pad.
“Racing or first person shooter players should be very happy, because this form of the triggers are favourably used to aim or to accelerate.”
“The history of the 3rd party peripheral manufacturers has shows us that there are most wild creation let loose on the players on the controller sector. It is nice to see that there are also some reasonable pads that are put on the retailer shelves.”
“No deficits occurred or were acknowledged in the field test. The vibrations function is reasonable and even the motion sensing technology cut a fine figure in the balance act in Mirror’s Edge. I could convince myself of the proper reaction of the analogue stick and the buttons while in a round of Modern Warfare 2 in the multiplayer mode. Result: No difference to the original. Bravo!”
